Fall Season 2004
I have cut back on my television watching a lot this season, with several evenings lacking in television altogether. And I have only started watching a handful of new shows. Here is the list:
Joey [NEW] ER Will & Grace American Dreams JAG Joan of Arcadia Boston Legal [NEW] Desperate Housewives [NEW]
Those last two premiered last night and I enjoyed them a lot. I am not sure if I will be able to see them weekly, depending on when they air. I read this morning that Desperate Housewives may air opposite American Dreams on Sundays, instead of after, so I may have to scrap that show from the list.
I realize that a lot of posters here are not from the States and that the American Fall TV Season may not apply, but if anyone wants to chime in about any of the shows I watch, or add some of their own, feel free.
As an aside, I had some relatives vacationing in Canada, and they called me to tell me how much they hated Canadian TV, because it seemed like everything was a bad attempt at an American show! And, since they were in a different timezone, despite the fact that their hotels got some American channels they could not watch the shows they were used to!

I haven't been watching my normal tv regiment since i'm at school, but the one show i have really been sticking with lately is Extreme Makeover: home edition. For those of you who may not have heard of it. a design team completely rebuilds and adds on to a family's house in a week. The family they choose has always had a terrible thing happen to them and they truly deserve all the help they get. The show is just so uplifting and inspiring.
I do try to watch JAG as often as possible b/c i have always loved that show, but i've been sliping on that lately.

RJ Sorry i don't watch any of those you posted that are new. I do watch JAG occasionally and Joan of Arcadia every friday. If you want a good show--on Thursdays (again in the states:P ) I watch "Without A Trace" It's about a branch of The FBI that searches for missing people. It is very good. My sister got me hooked last season and now I try not to miss it. It stars Anthony LaPaglia (sp?) just my two cents cheers applemartini

Ah, Without A Trace, the show that has finally beaten ER on Thursdays. That type of show is really not my thing. Medical/police investigative has never excited me (although I did see one episode of Crossing Jordan).
I am also watching Gilmore Girls religiously this season, after a bit of a bumpy ride in the past few seasons. And Malcolm in the Middle, which just started a few weeks ago on FOX for its fifth, I think, season.

it's true... living in the dorms really influences my TV watching... i find myself watching shows like the OC and the simpsons and south park a lot more, because it's what everyone else watches... although i do enjoy the shows i probally wouldn't watch them as often on my own... but i get to influence everyone else to watch MASH
